[00:00:00] Speaker A: W VUA f m tuscaloosa. [00:00:09] Speaker B: That'S foster the people with coming of age on 90.7 the Capstone. It's the Morning show. Good morning. Good morning, Andrew. How you doing this week? [00:00:18] Speaker C: Oh, I am doing great today. [00:00:21] Speaker B: All right, love to hear it. So, sadly, our dear friend and co host Christian Martin, is feeling a little under the weather today. He will not be with us for the guess. Yeah, I guess he'sick he texted us at four in the morning, so yeah. [00:00:37] Speaker C: He'S not there's nothing to worry about. Just a little bit of rigor mortise setting in. Walk it off. [00:00:43] Speaker B: Yeah, he might be dead, but whatever. [00:00:47] Speaker C: All right, we got a promotion. [00:00:49] Speaker B: Mr. Andrew. Hey, Andrew. How's your week been? You got anything cool going on? [00:00:54] Speaker C: I do got some things going. Know my weekend was pretty know all the parents came down. Parents'Weekend. But that was, like, two weeks ago. But my parents wanted to come, like, a normal week, no game, just see what the campus is like. And so they came on down. They took me out to dinner for, like, real food. Did you know there's more food besides dining hall pizza? [00:01:14] Speaker B: Really? [00:01:15] Speaker C: Yeah, there's, like, restaurants and stuff. [00:01:17] Speaker B: What'd you get? [00:01:19] Speaker C: Oh, we went to a steakhouse near their hotel, and that was really nice. And they met my girlfriend, and they liked her, and she liked them, so that was a relief. And it was just great. Went to bomb hours to watch the game. We watched Alabama Nail it. We saw angry Nick Saban on the TV. Was a treat. [00:01:39] Speaker B: Yeah, he's finally back. Good to see angry Nick again. Well, that's bold right there, taking your parents down when they don't have the nice dining hall food and they're doing all the stuff for them. So I had a pretty good weekend myself. I went out to Talladega Super Speedway. [00:01:56] Speaker C: Saw the race down there. [00:01:59] Speaker B: It was a playoff race, and they were selling tickets for a cool $25 for students. So that was very nice. [00:02:05] Speaker C: Yeah. [00:02:09] Speaker B: We got a pretty wild race. So the thing about those Super Speedway races, like the big ones back in the day, they used to do them as fast as possible because it was on giant track, bank turns and all that. So they'd be going out there upwards of, like, 200 miles an hour, and that's just, like, too fast for a stock car. They would just randomly fly up in the air and flip over. [00:02:30] Speaker C: But now they've got the restrictor plates. [00:02:31] Speaker B: They have the restrictor plates, so now they all go, like, the same speed, and they're all really close together, so it's like, completely different kind of racing. It's like nuts. It also means tons of big crashes, so that was cool. They crashed, like, three times. [00:02:44] Speaker C: I have to ask something very important. [00:02:45] Speaker B: Yeah. [00:02:47] Speaker C: Did they make another left turn? [00:02:49] Speaker B: Oh, they went fast and left, baby. Left turn. Yeah. [00:02:53] Speaker C: All right. Love races. Lightning McQueen. Was always my, you know, NASCAR is fun to watch. [00:02:58] Speaker B: Yes, sir. Yeah. Well, that's it for the beginning. We'll come back later with the weather. [00:03:11] Speaker A: WVUA FM Tuscaloosa. [00:03:19] Speaker B: Buffalo Springfield with Mr. Soul on 90.7 the capstone. It's the Morning show. Andrew, do you know what time it is? [00:03:27] Speaker C: What time is it? [00:03:30] Speaker D: It's time for Weather report. Weather Report. Weather Report. Weather Report. Weather Report. Weather Report. Weather Report. Weather Report. Weather Report. Weather Report. Weather Report. Weather Report. Weather Report. Weather Report. Weather Report. Weather Report. [00:03:52] Speaker C: All right, let's hear the weather. All right, the temperatures in Tuscaloosa are a nice 64 degrees and partly cloudy. The low of today was 59 degrees with a high of 86. Right now it is partly cloudy, but expect us not see that sun again after eleven. The air quality is a nice 56, which is moderate, nothing to worry about, and we're looking at a nice sunset around 06:30 p.m.. I think today's going to be a good day. [00:04:15] Speaker D: Love to hear on the weather report. Weather Report. Weather Report. Weather Report. Weather Report. Weather Report. Weather Report. [00:04:29] Speaker B: Well, whether the weather is good or bad, we've always got something to make you glad on 90.7 the Capstone. Andrew, what is today's positive affirmation? [00:04:37] Speaker C: Today's positive affirmation? Let the beginning of spooky season be your spooky reason to keep going. [00:04:47] Speaker B: Thank you, Andrew. That's the weather report for today. We'll be back in just a minute after Rockstar with Mama. [00:04:59] Speaker A: WVUA FM Tuscaloosa. [00:05:09] Speaker B: Mama with Rockstar on 90.7 the Capstone. It's the Morning show. So today we're going to take a look at the news from of course, the lovely Crimson white newspaper where we get all our news and views. [00:05:23] Speaker C: That's right. [00:05:24] Speaker B: That's right. So there's some news out about the recent SGA session. Few things came out of it. That is pretty cool. I think. So the Crimson Ride bus system is going to stop. There's going to be some additional bus stops to accommodate Crossing Point students. That's a big know. Crossing Points is like the special needs program here at the university and they added a stop on the Crimson Ride to make it a little bit easier for those students to get to their destination. Also, the SGA is going to explore some counseling center scholarships. So we all know about that free first meeting and then they charge you for all the other ones. Well, perhaps we'll have some needs based scholarships for that. So that's a pretty big deal right there. [00:06:09] Speaker C: We don't want people not taking advantage of something that they might really need. Yeah, tuition should cover a lot and resources like that. [00:06:18] Speaker B: Yeah, that's one of the most important, for sure. Also, they've approved the general budget, which is with $28,000 for eight student organizations, including men's and women's, wheelchair, basketball, and of course 73,000 for the executive general fund and 200,000 to the FAC to reimburse organizational expenditures. Man, they're dealing with a lot of money over there. [00:06:43] Speaker C: I know because I've heard of them. I didn't know exactly what they did until this article came out, and I'm like, oh, respect. They're doing real work. [00:06:50] Speaker B: It's not some cool stuff. [00:06:53] Speaker C: It's pretty prestigious. I see. You know why it's seriously got any. [00:06:58] Speaker B: More stories over there, Andrew? [00:07:00] Speaker C: We do. You know, it is homecoming, right, baby? All right, but what's homecoming without the homecoming queen, right? [00:07:10] Speaker D: Yeah. [00:07:10] Speaker C: So there's five candidates that are out. Those being Sydney Clements, Fatima Dondia, May Farmer, Chloe Holliday and Rachel Sile. And the voting will be going on for about a week. The closes on Tuesday, October 10. The voting is available from seven to seven on oh, yeah. That day. So voting is Tuesday, October 10, seven to seven, which, I don't know, satisfying, but I don't know why those numbers and yeah, anyone that's interested in voting that's through your mybama account. [00:07:51] Speaker B: Very cool. I'll have to check that out. [00:07:53] Speaker C: Yeah. [00:07:54] Speaker B: You excited for the homecoming week, Andrew? [00:07:56] Speaker C: I'm really excited for homecoming week. I have someone that may be giving me their ticket. Oh, and I don't have a problem with early kickoff. Yeah, not a problem at all. I'll be there right at nine when the gates open. [00:08:08] Speaker B: It's at nine in the morning. [00:08:09] Speaker C: The gates always open like 2 hours before. So kickoff is eleven. Gates should be opening at nine. Supposed to be parade at seven. [00:08:15] Speaker B: Early kickoff. [00:08:16] Speaker C: I don't know who's going. Oh, my God. Waking up. Well, staying awake for the 08:00 P.m. Kickoff for the away game, that's brutal. Again, I would rather wake up and go to bed early the next day. But the thing is that homecoming parade being the morning, I'm just not going to go to that. [00:08:33] Speaker B: Props to everyone in the parade. Million dollar band. People getting up at like probably got to get up at like four or something at least. That's crazy. Well, I'm really excited for homecoming weekend because I'm going to have my friend coming over, shout out to Mr. Nikolai Rura from Cornell coming down from law school to pay visit to his old stomping grounds. So I'm excited for that. See some old familiar faces. Once again, so very exciting. Homecoming week. 90.7 capstone here's. Moonchild Sanly with money tree. [00:09:08] Speaker A: You want to know WVUA FM tuscaloosa. [00:09:20] Speaker C: Was tabiotsa with pause. This is Plankton on 90.7, the capstone. Plankton, what are you doing on me? Radio show? Trying to steal the secret formula. [00:09:31] Speaker D: What? [00:09:31] Speaker C: You're not getting my secret formula, Plankton. [00:09:34] Speaker B: I'm going to get it. [00:09:37] Speaker C: I think that was plankton. And Mr. Krabs from hit TV show SpongeBob Square. [00:09:43] Speaker B: How'd they get in the studio? [00:09:44] Speaker C: I didn't let them in. How come they could swipe in and we couldn't? [00:09:47] Speaker B: I don't know, man. Yeah, they took away our swipe access this morning. It was crazy. That's why we were a little late coming on. Sorry. [00:09:53] Speaker C: Well, I hope Sandy the squirrel shows up. [00:09:55] Speaker B: Maybe. Yeah, maybe she can help fix our phones help get that swipe access back. Well, Andrew, what holiday is it today? It's a very special know, you got. [00:10:07] Speaker C: Me with this last time, okay. I said so many things. It was like chocolate milk day. It was other things too. And I remember what you did. I remember what you did. And so I'm going to say that against what I hope for, it's Weezer again, isn't it? [00:10:28] Speaker B: Actually, it's Walk to school day. [00:10:32] Speaker C: Oh, really? [00:10:32] Speaker D: Yeah. [00:10:32] Speaker C: I should do that. [00:10:33] Speaker B: Yeah, it's national walk to school day. How are you going to celebrate this fine day? [00:10:39] Speaker C: Well, in about an hour, I will be walking to school. [00:10:43] Speaker B: Oh, that's fantastic. That brings know so many memories back in high school. And that reminds me of a certain tour that a very special band. [00:10:52] Speaker C: Oh, what's that? [00:10:54] Speaker B: Well, it was the Memories tour by Weezer on Weezer Wednesday. Got you. Well, the Memories tour, what that was, was a special tour that they did in 2011 and 2010. Actually, it was 2010 originally. They had to reschedule it for 2011 for some reason, but they decided, you know what, we're Weezer, we're a little past our prime. Let's just go and play our best albums on tour again. So they played the Blue album in pinkerton live for a very special time. Going back to those memories, back when Weezer was like at their peak. And don't get me wrong, Weezer is still one of the best bands of all time and they're still releasing Bangers to this day. But the whole Blue album, Pinkerton, you got to admit that's some of the best music ever put out there. Am I right, Andrew? [00:11:43] Speaker C: You know, when I hear the I'm like, I feel something. [00:11:47] Speaker B: Yeah, man, it's great. Well, we're going to play some Weezer for you as we move into the next break. We have undone the Sweater song. Enjoy. [00:12:04] Speaker A: FM Tuscaloosa. [00:12:14] Speaker B: Past and present by Feist on 90.7 the capstone. It's the morning show and it's spooky season. Happy spooky season, everybody. Andrew, what are you doing to get in the spirit for this Halloween? [00:12:29] Speaker C: Well, spooky season's been a long time coming in my know in beautiful Ridgecrest South. Me and my dormitates, we've bought so many decorations from the Dollar Store, from Target, from Home Depot, and we put something really nice together. We got a bunch of spider webs on the wall with mini spiders and a big starter. We have a full size cutout of Neil Armstrong. That's not Halloween related. We just have that. So we wrap that in a lot of the cobwebs. So that's where the big spider sits on his helmet. It's really nice. We have a bunch of, like, ripped drapes over the window. Bunch of orange lights and orange purple lights. Just festive halloween colors. Little mini fake candles here and there, just in the main common area. Everywhere you look, there's a nice array of Halloween. And this is something I brought from home that I bought last week, my five foot Home Depot skeleton named Windsor. Now, you might be asking why Windsor? That's because I got it the week the Queen died. Now, I don't remember if I got it before or after, but I remember being like, I'm going to name the skeleton Windsor now because that was her last name. [00:13:34] Speaker B: Well, that's pretty nice. [00:13:35] Speaker C: Rip Liz. [00:13:37] Speaker B: Not really Rip to a real one right there. [00:13:39] Speaker D: Actually. [00:13:39] Speaker B: No, we hate the British here on the Morning Show. No offense to any British people listening. We just full offense. Yeah, actually, full offense. God bless America. We beat you once, we tied you the second time. So yeah, America rules number one. [00:13:53] Speaker C: Now, most Americans won't admit to a you know, you can tell that our opinions of you are based in respect. [00:14:02] Speaker B: Yeah, they're factual. And we don't like you. [00:14:05] Speaker C: Credit where credit is due. [00:14:06] Speaker B: But anyway, yeah, halloween. We're talking Halloween. I got to say, I really like the idea of like, a giant skeleton in your dorm. That's just awesome. [00:14:14] Speaker C: There's actually more to it. So he sits on a box and at Home Depot I got a whole bunch of bottled, you know, with the real sugar because that's like the best place to get that. Fun fact, the best place to get bottled Mexican Coke is Home Depot. Anyways, so every time I drink one on game day and then sometimes during the week and I put the bottled bay of the skeleton. So he just has a bunch of empty bottles now, Coke bottles in front of him so he just looks like a for on game day. I got like from the soup store, I got a yellow construction vest. Put that on the skeleton. Put a Home Depot hat on him because that's where he's from. Put a little pin on him that just has a picture of Nick Saban that just says the Goat. So he just looks like he's this off duty construction worker with a bunch of bottles. He's just this bum. He sits on a big cardboard box by the TV and we love him, Windsor. He's just the construction bum of the dorm. [00:15:02] Speaker B: Now that is decoration right there. I need to up my decoration, gang. You got me. Like, I'm jealous. I need to get on your level. I mean, I have a lot of Grateful Dead posters in my room and those have skeletons on them. But that's not like creepy skeletons. [00:15:18] Speaker C: No, but it's a start. That's a good thing to build from. [00:15:21] Speaker B: But what can I say? Big fan of skeletons. Love drinking milk and calcium. So I'm vibing with the skeleton on that level. But really my favorite probably like Halloween thing is like Dracula. That is always my favorite costume to do because I put on all this white makeup, so I get really pale and then I do red lips and slick the hair back, wear a bunch of black. It's so fun. [00:15:44] Speaker C: Is that what you're going to do? [00:15:45] Speaker B: Yeah. Well, I don't know. I've done that historically a few times, and it's always been good. But I'm thinking this year I'm going over to visit my sister during the Halloween weekend. [00:15:54] Speaker C: Okay. [00:15:55] Speaker B: And my sister's name is Blaine. So I was thinking, you've seen the dark Knight rises, right? [00:16:01] Speaker C: Oh, yeah. [00:16:01] Speaker B: With the villain Bane. I'm thinking blaine could be Bane. And then at the very beginning, they have this plane scene where there's this CIA agent. He's wearing like, khakis, and he's got on, he says, Dr. Pavel, I'm CIA. I'm like, oh, shoot. I could be CIA for Halloween. I have the exact same costume. I could do the power stance. [00:16:24] Speaker C: Bob CIA. [00:16:26] Speaker B: Yeah. [00:16:26] Speaker C: Inventor of the CIA. [00:16:27] Speaker B: He's like, if I pull that thing. [00:16:29] Speaker D: Off, will you die? [00:16:30] Speaker B: And then Bane's like. [00:16:33] Speaker C: It would be extremely painful. [00:16:35] Speaker B: You're a big guy for you. Yeah. [00:16:40] Speaker C: You have to do a voice like you're speaking into a can of Pringles. [00:16:44] Speaker B: No one cared who I was till I put on the mask. No one cared who I was till. [00:16:49] Speaker D: I put on the mask. [00:16:51] Speaker B: By then it was nothing to me. [00:16:52] Speaker D: But blinding. [00:16:54] Speaker C: Yeah. We love to do impressions here on the show. And Bane is certainly near one of. [00:16:59] Speaker B: The most fun ones. Maybe we'll pull out the nice Bane CIA exchange when we or we get Batman. [00:17:07] Speaker C: Batman. We have Batman on the show, everybody. [00:17:10] Speaker D: It's me. [00:17:11] Speaker C: I'm Batman. [00:17:12] Speaker B: Well, are you actually doing any costumes. [00:17:14] Speaker C: This am, you know, on kind of it's not superheroes, but it's another beloved nerd fandom. We have Star Wars now. Last year I spent a long time curating parts for Anakin Skywalker costume, an episode three look. And I got a nice glove, nice boots, tunic. My friend and I, we got pieces at goodwill to make a custom belt. That's the whole thing. I planned it out in the middle of the summer so I could split the cost of the whole thing because it was a few hundred dollars to put it together. But spread over several months. And it wasn't too bad. I already had a lightsaber. And I even grew my hair out for it, too. [00:17:53] Speaker B: Last can I can see be the. [00:17:55] Speaker C: Look, know it's going to come together. And I just brought the costume with me. [00:18:00] Speaker B: I grew my hair out one time for a costume I did Saul Goodman. So I grew out like really long hair on top. And then I straightened it out and did like the side part thing he's got going. Then I grew out sideburns for it. Wore like the tackiest suit imaginable. I even bought like a little earpiece ring watch. It was a lot of fun doing that costume. We love Halloween here. Big Halloween fans. [00:18:24] Speaker C: Big fans. [00:18:25] Speaker B: And we can love what they're doing. Possibly tell you some more about the Halloween season when we discuss our weekly watch. Maybe a bit of horror will be going on in the next segment. But for right now, we have a very special song for you. [00:18:40] Speaker A: This is Bobby Boris pickett with the monster mashm tuscaloosa. [00:19:02] Speaker B: It's 09:00 here on 90.7 the capstone w v UA FM. That was Lincoln Park with park with lost. It's the morning show here with Andrew and Richard. How's it going, everybody? We're going to talk about our weekly watch. So this is movies that we've seen in the past week. And because it's spooky season, I think that we ought to talk about some spooky things that we've been seeing. [00:19:26] Speaker C: I think you're absolutely right. Now, I said that my dorm is all NICED up. It's all decorated for the spooky season. So we've been showing it off to people and bringing people in to watch movies and just be immersed in the amazing atmosphere we've created. And to kick off that, recently we watched Nightmare Before Christmas. Now, I know it's about Christmas, but the whole time there's a Halloween aesthetic. From October 1 to December 25, you can be watching this movie goaded holiday of the last three months of the year. No movie's got that same seasonal staying power. Anyways, we followed it up with Coraline and I fell asleep. But I do love the movie. You know, children's movies, they got that aesthetic. They've got that following. They're associated with the Halloween season. And it was just a great kickoff to watching all that. [00:20:21] Speaker B: Well, whoever said kids movies couldn't be a little creepy? But let me tell you, I've seen a movie recently with some very creepy kids. I saw the shining. [00:20:31] Speaker C: Wow. [00:20:32] Speaker B: I've never seen it before. [00:20:33] Speaker C: Really? [00:20:34] Speaker B: It was amazing. It was like, yeah, I haven't seen anything quite like that. [00:20:37] Speaker C: It was know it's a Stanley Kubrick movie and he's in a lot of good stuff. You watched any of his other stuff? [00:20:44] Speaker B: Yeah, I've seen a Full Metal Jacket classic. I think that might be the only other Kubrick one. You know, and I say this as a film nerd, I need to be watching more of this stuff. [00:20:53] Speaker C: My favorite Kubrick movie is A Clockwork Orange. [00:20:56] Speaker B: I've heard that one. [00:20:57] Speaker C: And the main character there is one of the main inspirations for Heath Ledger's, Joker. So for any fans of The Dark Knight and especially the Joker, I think that you can get a lot of great I think there's a lot of great things in the movie that reflect that. But other than that, it's just really well put together. I love the soundtrack of it all, but when it comes to The Shining specifically classic, and I watch it about once a year, usually on Halloween. I try my best to watch it on Halloween every year. And I've been doing that for years now. It's a fun tradition. [00:21:29] Speaker B: I'm trying to get my friend to I have one friend who's never like, he never watches horror movies because they scare him senseless. In fact, I made a Dracula movie in high school. It was not scary. It was just like a high school English project. And I put it on one time, and he was, like, quivering with fear the whole time. He had to grab onto my other friend to be like, please keep me safe. And I'll be like, Dude, it's like me in makeup. He was terrified. [00:22:04] Speaker C: He's just afraid of you. [00:22:06] Speaker B: Yeah, I guess so. Maybe I'm just a scary guy, but yeah, I really want to get this guy to watch The Shining or, like, some other scary movie. [00:22:14] Speaker C: It's scary. [00:22:15] Speaker B: Scary, but particularly yeah, they're showing it, I think, in one of the movie theaters in Tuscaloosa on the 31st. So, hey, you could go in there and you could watch it on the big screen for your yearly ritual right there. [00:22:32] Speaker C: That is a really good idea. Yeah. [00:22:33] Speaker B: Might see me and my friend in there, and he'll be freaking out when. [00:22:38] Speaker C: I hear the audible scream when the credits start rolling at the beginning of the movie, just like, oh, well, I guess the mountain there was too scary for you. [00:22:47] Speaker B: Yeah, but it's got that scary organ music on you like it does. [00:22:52] Speaker C: The opening of the movie is unsettling, even though it's just thoughts of nature, car driving. [00:23:00] Speaker B: Are there any other movies you've been thinking? Maybe not in the scary variety? [00:23:03] Speaker C: No. Well, sort of maybe not a movie, but playing in theaters, like the recording of the Eric Taylor Swift's Era's Tour. I don't really know what it is. I just know it's this like it's her singing, and you can see it at the movies, but it's not like all theaters. I think it's more of a select theater. Now, our local theater, the kind of the one near the IHOP, is kind of like, not the biggest theater. It's not as big as the ones where I'm from. And they just kind of get the more average movies that anyone gets. So I think to go to this era thing would be, like, going pretty far out of town, maybe even to Birmingham, and it's just kind of a lot since none of our friends out of a car would really want to do it. We don't want to pay for the Uber from me and my girlfriend to just go to Taylor Swift for a concert we've both been to, that would. [00:23:48] Speaker B: Be a ludicrous Uber. Yeah. [00:23:49] Speaker C: So we might just have to so. [00:23:52] Speaker B: You were at the one that they actually filmed? [00:23:54] Speaker C: I wasn't at the one they filmed, but it's not specifically, but it's the Heirs Tour concert. Well, she went on a different day than I did before I met her, but I went to one of the nights in Arlington at Dallas Cowboys Stadium. [00:24:08] Speaker B: Very cool. [00:24:09] Speaker C: It's my second concert with her. [00:24:11] Speaker B: Yeah. How was it? I haven't been yet. [00:24:14] Speaker C: The airstore. It's really fantastic. Like, if you have a favorite Taylor Swift song, you're probably going to hear it because she goes through everything. Unless you have like a deep cut. If your favorite song is one of the singles, every single hit single is on there. Wow, that was good. You should have heard the audience during You Belong with Me love story. That's just when everyone's singing because that's. [00:24:36] Speaker B: Great undisputed class, everyone knows. [00:24:38] Speaker C: And then the little part in Shake. [00:24:40] Speaker B: It Off the Rap. [00:24:45] Speaker C: We'Re doing air quotes, but the know everyone was yelling great environment. So I could talk so much more about that on a whole separate thing. [00:24:56] Speaker B: Well, I don't think we have any Taylor Swift on the do we? [00:25:01] Speaker C: Do we have revenge? [00:25:02] Speaker B: We have revenge. All right, well, give me 1 second, let me see if I can find this. [00:25:09] Speaker C: I'll keep going. Now I'll tell you my favorite Taylor Swift song we don't have on the station. And now that is you belong with me. I've been every single person in that song. [00:25:20] Speaker B: I know what you mean, because it. [00:25:22] Speaker C: Depends what you're listening. You know, I don't necessarily call myself a Swiftie, but You Belong With Me is generally one of my favorite songs. [00:25:31] Speaker B: All right, well, we're talking some Taylor Swift right here. And I've found some Taylor Swift. We're going to play better than Revenge from her Speak Now album. [00:25:42] Speaker D: Yum. [00:25:46] Speaker A: WVUA FM tuscaloosa. [00:25:55] Speaker B: Hippocampus with Way it Goes on 90.7 the capstone. It's the morning show. [00:26:01] Speaker C: That's right. [00:26:02] Speaker B: So Andrew, I gotta ask you, have you been enjoying the weather today? [00:26:08] Speaker C: Yes, I have. [00:26:09] Speaker B: Hey, you know what time it is? [00:26:11] Speaker D: Weather report. Weather report. Weather report. Weather report. Weather report. Weather report. Weather report. Weather report. Weather report. Weather report. Weather report. Weather report. Weather report. Weather report. [00:26:29] Speaker C: Andrew, what do we got today? All right, in Tuscaloosa, it's 70 degrees below 68 and a high of 86. Only expect to see that sun and it's partly cloudy for about an hour and a half. Don't expect to see the sun again after eleven. For the rest of the day. Sunset expected to be around 636 30 01:00 p.m.. We're looking at air quality of 61, nice and moderate. We're looking at a good day with not a lot of wind. Feels like it's 71 degrees, humidity is 67%. I think it's going to be a good day. [00:27:00] Speaker D: Thank you, Andrew, for that weather report. Weather report. Weather report. Weather report. [00:27:06] Speaker B: Well, whether the weather is good or bad, we've always got something to make you glad on 90.7 the capstone. Here's our positive news story for the day. So in New Delhi, there was a man, and this may seem sad at. [00:27:20] Speaker C: First there's a guy in New Delhi. [00:27:22] Speaker B: Well, yeah, there's a lot of guys there. But anyway, he was waiting for his normal commuter train one morning and he fell onto the tracks as a train was coming. [00:27:33] Speaker D: No. [00:27:34] Speaker B: So thinking quickly, this man laid down flat right on the train track and the train went over him safely. And he got out unscathed, completely fine. So very happy day for Mr. Pratik Kumar in New Delhi. Congratulations on cheating death that day. Well done, sir. Positive news. [00:27:58] Speaker C: Sometimes to think on your feet, you have to think on your back. [00:28:01] Speaker B: Very true. That's the weather report with 90.7 the Capstone. Here's. Bully with change your mind. We'll be back in just a minute. [00:28:10] Speaker D: Yada. [00:28:15] Speaker A: WVUA FM tuscaloosa. [00:28:24] Speaker B: That's bully with Change Your Mind on 90.7 the capstone. It's the morning show. [00:28:29] Speaker C: Oh, yeah. [00:28:30] Speaker B: So, Andrew, you know we like to celebrate the day here on 90.7 the Capstone, and today is National Walk to School Day. [00:28:37] Speaker C: Yes, it is. [00:28:38] Speaker B: I know we went over this earlier, but I think it's rather thematic at the moment because something sad is about to happen. [00:28:46] Speaker C: Ladies and gentlemen, I have somewhere to be. I need to walk to campus. I need to walk to my beautiful, beloved Reese Pfeiffer. I need to walk to school. [00:28:57] Speaker B: Well, thank you for celebrating day with us, Andrew, and walking to school. You will be sorely missed I know. On the morning show. Until next time, adios. Well, there goes Andrew. Hate to see him leave. Well, just you and me now on the morning show. I guess we're out of stuff to talk to, so I guess we will be ending a little early. Thank you for joining us today. Enjoy the rest of your day and have fun. On listening to 90.7 the FSTone, here's secondhand sound with Domino's. [00:29:44] Speaker A: WVUA FM Tuscaloosa.
