[00:00:00] Speaker A: Wvuafm tuscaloosa. [00:00:11] Speaker B: That was karma. Police, fire, Radiohead. All right, we have big news for all you fans of 90.7 in the morning show. We have our recording system finally working again. [00:00:25] Speaker A: We fixed it. [00:00:25] Speaker B: Have you noticed that? We did it, Joe, I don't know what you'd call, like, posting the recordings online. So I'm gonna call them vods. [00:00:32] Speaker A: Vods. [00:00:33] Speaker B: They're like our twitch vods. [00:00:34] Speaker A: Oh, yeah. [00:00:34] Speaker B: We haven't had them for like the last two, three weeks. [00:00:37] Speaker A: Yeah, they haven't been uploaded, but we haven't been able to record. [00:00:39] Speaker B: But now we have new discs that work with the system. And starting at this very, very moment, we got a recording working again. [00:00:48] Speaker A: We do. [00:00:49] Speaker B: So, Danielle, if you wanna have your words immortalized into history, you can call us at 205-348-9070 that's 20. 534-448-9070 come on, Danielle, get those little gopher hands dialing. That's right. But there is more today than just recording. I think there's something to do. [00:01:16] Speaker A: There's something that we do every day. [00:01:18] Speaker B: Every week we need to discuss, especially with all the craziness happening last night. I think people need to know the. [00:01:34] Speaker C: Weather report. Weather report. Weather report. Weather report. Weather report. Weather report. Weather report. Weather report. Do not distort the weather report. Weather report. Weather report. What's the weather like? [00:01:49] Speaker A: Answer. [00:01:49] Speaker B: Good morning, Tuscaloosa. It's currently 51 degrees with a high of 68 and a low of 49. There is nine mile an hour wind with 20 1 mile an hour gust and it feels like 50 degrees. The humidity is 68% and you can expect to see sunny skies all day and expect some wind in the late afternoon on the. [00:02:16] Speaker C: Weather report. Weather report. Weather report. Weather report. Weather report. Weather report. Weather report. Weather report. [00:02:26] Speaker B: Whether the weather is good or bad, we've always got something to make you glad on 90.7, the morning show. Christian, hit us with your daily affirmations. [00:02:39] Speaker A: In this season in west Alabama in which tornadoes are frequent. I will make sure to stay tuned into the weather and stay safe and always be prepared. And I won't get too overly worried about a tornado watch because even though you should be prepared during a tornado watch, they never actually amount to anything. That's a nice little affirmation based on. [00:03:08] Speaker B: Last night, even though it's your favorite segment, we hope we don't have to bring you tornado watch on 90.7, the morning show. [00:03:20] Speaker A: Well, you know, tornado Watch has been cancelled according to that. [00:03:23] Speaker B: I know. You know, imagine if you got a notification on your phone that said, go for watch has been canceled or big Al Watch has been cancelled. [00:03:31] Speaker A: I don't know what I'd do if I learned that go for watch had been canceled. [00:03:34] Speaker B: What if we got the campus to send a notification that was like, go for watch has been canceled? Tune into 90.7 from eight to ten on Wednesday for more information. We'd get tens of viewers. [00:03:47] Speaker A: That's true. We gotta find somebody that works for, like, the UA safety notification office to send that out. [00:03:52] Speaker B: And, you know, with all the weather craziness, bringing someone on to, like, just talk about the weather and why we send out all the things. [00:04:00] Speaker A: Oh, yeah, things like that. [00:04:01] Speaker B: That could be a very interesting. It could actually be quite interesting. Reach out to us on the wVuafM, Instagram or the office of Student media. Instagram or call in at 205-348-9070 if you want to tell us what kind of guests you'd be interested in seeing on the show. [00:04:20] Speaker C: That's true. [00:04:21] Speaker A: We'll try and bring them on from now on. [00:04:24] Speaker B: We're gonna bring the music back on with when I was by my friend Peter. Enjoy. [00:04:38] Speaker A: Wvuafm Tuscaloosa. [00:04:49] Speaker B: Welcome back to 90.7, the morning show. And are we here with where we get all our news and views? [00:05:00] Speaker A: We are where we get all our news and views. The Crimson White. Big news out of the Crimson White for your Crimson White news break this morning. [00:05:08] Speaker B: All right, what do we got? [00:05:09] Speaker A: That's right. This is from March 31, so a couple days ago, written by Sarah Clifton. We always want to shout out the authors of these, of course, articles. This is big. Maven Navarro named editor in chief of the Crimson White. [00:05:24] Speaker B: Wow. [00:05:25] Speaker A: Our beloved sister organization has a new editor in chief. Rising junior maven Navarro will be, and I quote, taking her journalistic tour de force to the next level by leading the Crimson White beginning in May as editor in chief. She hails from Waxahachie, Texas. [00:05:44] Speaker B: You got it. [00:05:45] Speaker A: And is currently studying news media and political science. [00:05:50] Speaker B: Wow. You know, Texans rise up. We're doing so much work. [00:05:54] Speaker A: Texans in the media. Everyone's talking about the liberal media this, the conservative media that. What about the Texas media? [00:05:59] Speaker B: We are the secret third thing. [00:06:01] Speaker A: Yeah. We got editor in chief of Crimson White. We got morning show co host Andrew. We got so many people. [00:06:09] Speaker B: Marketing team member. [00:06:10] Speaker A: Marketing team member. Yeah. [00:06:11] Speaker B: And more. There's more texts than you think around you. [00:06:15] Speaker A: Indeed. [00:06:16] Speaker B: No, that's not meant to be a fan. [00:06:17] Speaker A: You're always watching. [00:06:19] Speaker B: You know, if Texas ever decides to secede, Texas roadhouse will actually become the embassy for Texas. [00:06:26] Speaker A: As long as they still give me the rolls with cinnamon butter, I don't care. [00:06:30] Speaker B: Okay. [00:06:32] Speaker A: I'm a big fan. [00:06:32] Speaker B: We're making a treaty here on the conditions for Texas to secede. It should not happen. But we don't get political about secession of states on 90.7, the morning show. We prefer to talk about more fun things like the weekly Watch, your favorite weekly watch segment. And today we're gonna talk about favorite childhood movies. That's because last night I watched Toy Story two, which is the best of the four. [00:06:59] Speaker A: Toy story, correct. [00:07:00] Speaker B: Hands down, it's got crazy. [00:07:03] Speaker A: There are four now. [00:07:04] Speaker B: It has the chicken man. [00:07:06] Speaker A: Yep, it does have chicken. [00:07:07] Speaker B: It has some of the best quotes. You know, it's got the. When Zurg's salmon buzz into the wall and it just goes, buzz, buzz, buzz lightyear to the rescue is iconic. When the villain, Al McWiggin, the chicken man, is driving to work, and he's like, I can't believe I have to go all the way to work on a Saturday. All the way to work. And he just drives across the street. [00:07:28] Speaker A: Yeah. [00:07:29] Speaker B: You know, there's so many great, great quotes, great moments, great writing. Peak Pixar. There were a few films in. Really found their stride. [00:07:39] Speaker A: Yeah. [00:07:40] Speaker B: And so, you know, I love those early Pixar things. Toy story two came out in 1999, and it does not look like that. [00:07:47] Speaker A: No, it does. [00:07:47] Speaker B: Like toy story and Bug's life. You're like, yeah, this is Toy story and Bug's life is like, all right. [00:07:54] Speaker A: This is like, you can definitely tell a Toy story is, like, their first ever feature. [00:07:57] Speaker C: Yeah. [00:07:57] Speaker B: Like, you feel like this is the nineties. Like, this isn't this century. But toy story two, you could be like, oh, this came out 2000, whatever. You know, like, oh, something. And like, they really. Yeah, it's a big, huge jump from. From Bug's life to Toy story two, too. But, you know, so Pixar was a big part of my childhood, but, christian, what movies made up your childhood now? [00:08:19] Speaker A: I enjoyed Pixar. I watched some Pixar, and, you know, I love Disney and Pixar. [00:08:22] Speaker B: Oh, yeah. Oh, yeah. [00:08:24] Speaker A: I'm gonna specifically talk about a Disney movie, non Pixar Disney movie. That was a big part of my childhood. I was a big fox and the Hound guy. Fox and the hound. [00:08:32] Speaker B: So I've actually never seen that one. [00:08:34] Speaker A: So it's from that era. Like, you know, you always hear people talk about the Disney Renaissance and the, like. [00:08:39] Speaker C: Yes. [00:08:40] Speaker B: You know, the nineties. [00:08:41] Speaker A: It's like the sort of dark age of Disney people don't really talk about from the seventies, early eighties. [00:08:46] Speaker B: Black Cauldron era. [00:08:47] Speaker A: Yeah, black ca. Ooh. Shout out black cauldron. You're surprising, you know. Black Cauldron. It's a good movie. [00:08:51] Speaker B: Oh, I know. Black Cauldron, you know? [00:08:53] Speaker A: Yeah. What y'all know about black ca? If you have any thoughts on Black Cauldron, please call in. [00:08:56] Speaker B: But anyway, I don't think there's enough people who've seen it. [00:08:59] Speaker A: No, that's what I'm saying, Danielle. [00:09:00] Speaker B: I can. [00:09:01] Speaker A: Sure. Oliver and company era. Shout out Oliver and company. [00:09:05] Speaker B: Wait, when did Aristocats come out? [00:09:07] Speaker A: I want to say it was, like, on the cusp of that era. Early in that era. [00:09:10] Speaker B: Okay. That's to say, like, I associate it sort of with that time. [00:09:14] Speaker A: Yeah. But anyway, it's heartwarming. It's kind of bittersweet. I remember, I have fond memories of watching it on, like, the school AV cart once and the projector once, and. [00:09:26] Speaker B: I know exactly what you're talking about. [00:09:28] Speaker A: You know, you had, like, the 20 inch, maybe standard def tv on the car with the vhs tape player. Good times, that. Or there was the projector. Remember the scholastic, like, movies where, like, they took scholastic books and turned them into movies and then be put on in the projector, like Harold and his purple crayon? [00:09:48] Speaker B: Weren't they, like, ads or they were. [00:09:49] Speaker A: Basically, like, 30 minutes walking advertisements for the book. [00:09:52] Speaker B: Yeah, yeah, company, scholastic. [00:09:56] Speaker A: Those were a good time, too. [00:09:58] Speaker B: How come UA does not have the scholastic book fare? [00:10:00] Speaker A: So true, folks. Get. Get a scholastic book for inside the Ferg. [00:10:04] Speaker B: You. You know, it would like, it would make. Bring in so much. [00:10:09] Speaker A: It would make bank. I would be there. [00:10:11] Speaker B: I would certainly the, you know, the money would. [00:10:15] Speaker A: My money would be green. [00:10:17] Speaker B: My money would be gone. [00:10:19] Speaker A: They would be making a good profit. [00:10:21] Speaker B: Drop me the whole wad at a us bands. [00:10:25] Speaker A: Bands would be spent by Christian, by the role myself. Yeah. [00:10:30] Speaker B: You know, but that is really. When did the. The rescuers come out? Is that in that era? [00:10:37] Speaker A: I think it was, yeah. [00:10:38] Speaker B: No, rescuers is a favorite of mine. Yeah, it's definitely more mainstream than a lot of the other ones from that era. [00:10:44] Speaker A: That's true. [00:10:44] Speaker B: That kind of survived the test of time. Maybe a little bit better. [00:10:47] Speaker A: Yeah. [00:10:48] Speaker B: But, like, still, like, shout out, like, I love that movie, you know? But of course, you can't stop. Like, Disney, Renaissance, Little Mermaid came out. You know, Disney realized, you know, let's go back to fairy tales indeed, but make them Broadway. [00:11:02] Speaker A: What y'all know about the Little Mermaid three. [00:11:06] Speaker B: Well, there's a prequel and a sequel. Are you counting that or. [00:11:10] Speaker A: Yeah. Hit direct to DVD film. Yeah. Little Mermaid three. [00:11:14] Speaker B: It was like Ariel begins. Or what's the. [00:11:18] Speaker A: I think it was the pre Ariel's beginning. [00:11:21] Speaker B: It's something like that. [00:11:21] Speaker A: Yeah. [00:11:22] Speaker B: Like her mom died. [00:11:23] Speaker A: This is true. [00:11:24] Speaker B: And you see, you know that the King hates music. Then by the end, he likes music again. [00:11:30] Speaker A: Yeah. [00:11:30] Speaker B: And then there's the sequel. And I know she has, like, a daughter named, like, Melody. [00:11:34] Speaker A: Yep. [00:11:34] Speaker B: You know, that's all I know. I've never seen. I just know. [00:11:37] Speaker A: I don't know. Shout out to. Shout out to. Also Disney direct to DVD films. Like there's like four or five Aladdin. [00:11:44] Speaker B: Oh, this. [00:11:45] Speaker A: Yeah. [00:11:45] Speaker B: They got Robin Williams back for the third Aladdin. [00:11:48] Speaker A: They did. They just kept shooting the Aladdin's out. [00:11:51] Speaker B: And they have them. Hunchback of Notre Dame two. [00:11:55] Speaker A: Yeah. [00:11:56] Speaker B: Which didn't have any of the weight of the first one. [00:11:58] Speaker A: No, most definitely not. [00:12:00] Speaker B: But you can't. You can't beat some of those. What are the other ones? [00:12:04] Speaker A: No, it's hard to beat Victor Hugo, really. Isn't he the guy that wrote the whole. [00:12:10] Speaker B: Yeah, I think so. Yeah, I think so. [00:12:12] Speaker A: Same guys wrote Les Miserables. So if you like Les Mis. [00:12:15] Speaker B: Oh, yeah. And other things as well. [00:12:16] Speaker A: Many other things. [00:12:18] Speaker B: But I'm trying to see other direct to DVD sequels. [00:12:21] Speaker A: I don't know, but I can think of same era. So that era, of course, does not give the same vibes as Disney's dark age, but the direct to DVD sequels released in that era give the same vibes. [00:12:32] Speaker B: I know there's so many, but, like, I can't. Oh, Mulan two. [00:12:36] Speaker A: Mulan two. Classic Pocahontas two. [00:12:38] Speaker B: Pocahontas two. I think everyone got a sequel. Who didn't. [00:12:41] Speaker A: Literally. [00:12:42] Speaker B: Exactly. [00:12:42] Speaker A: Anyone who was anyone was getting sequels. [00:12:45] Speaker B: Little memory. Got a prequel. Like, I wish we got more prequels. [00:12:47] Speaker A: So true. [00:12:48] Speaker B: You know, Mulan prequel could have gone hard. [00:12:50] Speaker A: Oh, that could have gone very hard. [00:12:51] Speaker B: You know, bring back some characters. I don't know. I just keep thinking of all the other franchises. They got way too many sequels. [00:13:03] Speaker A: Oh, yeah. [00:13:03] Speaker B: Shout out Alpha and Omega. [00:13:06] Speaker A: I forgot about that movie. I forgot. I got the first one on Redbox as a kid. I forgot. They kept spitting out sequels. [00:13:14] Speaker B: Direct to DVD, Redbox. Oh, my. Yeah. Cause the first one's borderline good for a kids movie. For kids movie. Right. [00:13:22] Speaker A: And then just kept. [00:13:23] Speaker B: And then it kept. Oh, my. It's insane. Oh, land before time. Oh, that is the definition of too many sequels. There's like, what, 17 of them or something? [00:13:35] Speaker A: Yeah. I like the land before. [00:13:36] Speaker B: You know, the first one is like, completely. [00:13:38] Speaker A: Know what movie. What other movie are you gonna watch when you go to the pediatrics? [00:13:43] Speaker B: No, no. Well, okay. [00:13:45] Speaker A: It's always gonna be on. [00:13:46] Speaker B: No. What? I'm. In my experience, pediatricians offices just have Mickey Mouse clubhouse on loop. [00:13:54] Speaker A: Oh, no, see, in my experience, I have to land before time. [00:13:56] Speaker B: Mm. Okay. Cause, like, one of the land before the one that was. Cause there was one point where I was, like, at three different offices, and each one just had Mickey Mouse clubhouse. Cause you have to make sure it's suitable for any child that walks in there. And so, like, being pushing, like, the last few years of being able to see actor, I'm like, all right, well, we're actually finding his Mickey Mouseketool. It's better than staring at the wall. True. And then you have your dentists. You can usually assume it's gonna be an ice age movie. You just don't know which one. [00:14:27] Speaker A: No, that's accurate. That's very accurate. I got to say, based on my one experience recently, I'm pretty sure whenever you donate plasma, they will just have. They will just have a full house on loop. [00:14:44] Speaker B: Ooh, yeah, that's pretty good. You know, they don't. They never usually played tv shows. No, they don't always be movies. [00:14:51] Speaker A: That's. Yeah, it's movie. [00:14:52] Speaker B: You know, something from the two thousands, you know, cuz they just keep swapping out the DVD's, you know, shout out to dentists where they play ice age. And if you were good, you'd get a prize. [00:15:03] Speaker A: Oh, yeah. [00:15:04] Speaker B: You know, cuz they got to a point where they stopped giving me. Letting me get prizes, like, you know. [00:15:07] Speaker A: The little balsa wood planes. Those were fun. [00:15:10] Speaker B: Yeah. My dentist had arcade machines. [00:15:12] Speaker A: Ooh, very nice. [00:15:13] Speaker B: Yeah, so I was like, playing Galaga all the time. Or we had a pull position and it was like, so cool. Cause it, like, it's barely audible. It's like. And I'm just figuring out, like, pulling, like, the, like, high low gear, not knowing what I'm doing. Just trying not to. Cause if you touch anything in pole position, you. You explode. [00:15:35] Speaker A: Oh, yeah. [00:15:36] Speaker B: And I was. Felt guilty. So I would stop playing, like, racing cars and I would go back to shooting aliens in Galaga, and then the dentist would do their thing. But at that point, I'm like, all right, well, just do your thing so I can get my. [00:15:48] Speaker A: Yeah. Why are we here? You're not here to actually see the dentist. You're here to play the archives, play. [00:15:52] Speaker B: The games, and then get my prize. [00:15:53] Speaker A: Yeah, it's like Chuck E. Cheese, but with dental hygiene. [00:15:57] Speaker B: I know, man. Chuck E. Cheese. [00:16:01] Speaker A: Charles entertainment cheese. [00:16:02] Speaker B: Every time. I'm kind of in that area, you know, the Barnes and noble gamestop and all that. [00:16:06] Speaker A: You know, I live in walking distance, and I'm always tempted to just randomly walk to Chuck E. Cheese. [00:16:11] Speaker B: Well, you need a kid to actually get in. [00:16:13] Speaker A: It feels weird. [00:16:14] Speaker B: If not, where do we find one? [00:16:17] Speaker A: I have a niece. [00:16:19] Speaker B: See, that's mom. [00:16:20] Speaker A: Dad, I know you're listening. Can you get Avery down here? [00:16:24] Speaker B: We want to go to Chuck E. Cheese. [00:16:27] Speaker A: Yeah, get her down here. Get your granddaughter down here. Come on. Now. Talk to whoever you have to talk to to make this happen. I don't talk to talk to Brandon. [00:16:39] Speaker B: Anyway, we have strings can pull on 90.7, the morning show. We will get into Chuck E. Cheese. [00:16:44] Speaker A: We will. There might even be some. There might even be some content at Chuck E. Cheese. [00:16:48] Speaker B: Yeah. You know, great content on the Instagram. [00:16:51] Speaker A: We can. Yeah, we can post skeeball scores. [00:16:55] Speaker B: Who's a better skeeball? WVUA skeeball tournament. [00:16:58] Speaker A: When? What's the plan on this? We gotta get to summer on this. [00:17:01] Speaker B: We gotta get to summer. We gotta get to Chloe. [00:17:02] Speaker A: We gotta. Terry, we gotta talk to all the folks. [00:17:05] Speaker B: Oh, man. Well, we're gonna plan out this Chuck E. Cheese adventure. In the meantime, we're gonna hit you back with some music. We got brainwaves by the muo duo. We'll see you next time on 90.7, the morning show. [00:17:25] Speaker A: Wvuafm, Tuscaloosa. [00:17:36] Speaker B: Welcome back to 90.7 good morning show. And we're here to talk about something very important. To talk about your favorite segment and. [00:17:53] Speaker A: What I think we should do. A song. It'd be even better than just saying your favorite segment. [00:17:59] Speaker B: Okay. Where are you, Gopher? [00:18:04] Speaker A: I think I found you. You never fade. [00:18:13] Speaker B: That. [00:18:14] Speaker A: That's right. That's what Faith Hill was really singing about. [00:18:18] Speaker B: Well, today is, of course, the time when we talk about Gopher watch. [00:18:23] Speaker A: And you know, if you have Gopher watch in your heart and your mind, it will feel like gopher watch on. [00:18:27] Speaker B: I have no gopher stories. [00:18:29] Speaker A: Yeah, no gophers for me. [00:18:31] Speaker B: But today's more than just gopher day. We're gonna celebrate today. So I'm looking at what special days it is today. It's world party day. [00:18:40] Speaker A: Woo. [00:18:41] Speaker B: I think you can get behind that. [00:18:42] Speaker A: Oh, yeah. Actually, I'm not gonna be able to go for long? For a while? Cause I have a rehearsal, but I have a friend's birthday party. I'm planning on stopping by in for 15 minutes. So I'll be celebrating world party, american. [00:18:55] Speaker B: Circus day for all you clowns out there. [00:18:57] Speaker A: You know, every day is world circus day if you're me. [00:19:00] Speaker B: Oh, yeah. Day of hope. Nah, don't go to work unless it's fun day. [00:19:07] Speaker A: You know, we have fun. We're not paid, but it's fun. [00:19:10] Speaker B: It's fan dance day. Japanese fans. [00:19:14] Speaker A: Interesting. [00:19:15] Speaker B: Fish custard day. [00:19:17] Speaker A: Oh, interesting combination. [00:19:19] Speaker B: Independent artist day. [00:19:21] Speaker A: Big. [00:19:22] Speaker B: You know, I'm gonna sketch that. I've been working on that. How it's going. I'm holding it up to the microphone. That's mewtwo from the Pokemon franchise. My favorite Pokemon. And I'm doing a great sketch on him that I have been working on between segments. And during my. [00:19:42] Speaker A: He's been coloring away. [00:19:43] Speaker B: Oh, yeah. I found a great reference image. I'm going really hard with the shading. [00:19:50] Speaker A: I don't know why I'm explaining this to y'all. Y'all can see it through the microphone. [00:19:53] Speaker B: Oh, I know they can see it. But the thing is, though, is like commentary because it's not done yet. It's very blurry, you know, and if someone's not using a good radio, they're not gonna have great resolution. [00:20:02] Speaker A: That's true. [00:20:02] Speaker B: You know, shout out to everyone with a 4k radio. Yeah. Sorry. For those with the 720p. [00:20:09] Speaker A: Yeah, it's too bad. [00:20:10] Speaker B: Let's see. It's also national Chocolate Mousse Day. Oh, this is a good one. [00:20:14] Speaker A: I love chocolate. [00:20:15] Speaker B: This is a good one. National Film Score Day. Do you have a favorite film score like the music of in a movie? Like the soundtrack, but not basic, but. [00:20:26] Speaker A: Episode four of Star wars always hits. Make sure. No, it might be episode five. Cause, you know, wasn't it episode five that introduced the imperial? [00:20:38] Speaker B: Yes. [00:20:38] Speaker A: There's no, honestly, episode five because it has the episode four song and the. [00:21:06] Speaker B: That's the first one you see the emperor. [00:21:08] Speaker A: That's true. [00:21:08] Speaker B: Goaded. Goaded character. [00:21:11] Speaker A: Indeed. Goaded character. I don't know. [00:21:13] Speaker B: I feel like episode three also has. [00:21:15] Speaker A: Oh, yeah. [00:21:16] Speaker B: Duel of the fates. Episode three does have a little bit of duel of the fates. It's got, like, the battle of heroes or whatever the Anakin versus Obi Wan song is. Goes hard. And it has some imperial march in there. [00:21:27] Speaker A: It does. Yeah. You know, all the greatest hits. [00:21:30] Speaker B: Pretty good. All your favorite hits. But see, for me, I really like you know, bring it back to Pixar. You also recently watched incredibles. The music in that is far off. [00:21:43] Speaker A: The incredibles does have some great music. [00:21:47] Speaker B: I don't know if off the top of my head, I can say, like a best of all time, but that really, really stood out. Let's see. But speaking of good music, is there something we. I'm thinking there's a band. [00:21:59] Speaker A: It's really great music. And speaking of celebrating the day, I think there's a big holiday today. [00:22:03] Speaker B: Wait, I know what it is. Actually, I know what it is. [00:22:06] Speaker A: You know what it is? [00:22:07] Speaker B: No, no. I watched Toy Story two, and at the very end they have the little squeaky penguin, and he sings, you got a friend in me. His name is Wheezy. You know, and he is quite the Weezer. [00:22:20] Speaker A: That's right. [00:22:21] Speaker B: It's Weezer Wednesday. Now, what is today in Weezer history? There's always something today in Weezer history. [00:22:30] Speaker A: Yeah. We're going back to our pals at Weezerpedia. [00:22:33] Speaker B: Oh, yeah. [00:22:34] Speaker A: We love Weezer. [00:22:35] Speaker B: Some of our biggest collaborators. [00:22:37] Speaker A: So, in zero two. [00:22:38] Speaker B: Yeah. Ok. [00:22:39] Speaker A: They recorded the second batch of demos for their unreleased fifth album. Okay, so that's interesting. [00:22:48] Speaker B: Mmm. I wonder what it would have been. [00:22:51] Speaker A: Indeed. Sadly, we'll never know. [00:22:53] Speaker B: What color would it have been? I think. I think Weezer kind of slowed down because they kind of stopped running out. [00:22:58] Speaker A: Of the Mauve album. [00:23:01] Speaker B: The Mauve album. [00:23:02] Speaker A: What you know about the color mauve? [00:23:04] Speaker B: It's one of the colors Joseph had on his amazing technicality. [00:23:08] Speaker A: Very true. It is. It's one of the colors of all time. [00:23:10] Speaker B: It is one of the colors of all time. And to help celebrate Weezer, we have a Weezer song just for you. [00:23:19] Speaker A: Yeah, that's right. We're gonna pipe down and stop talking and let it play. [00:23:23] Speaker B: We're gonna bring on hash pipe by Weezer from the green album. All of y'all enjoy. [00:23:36] Speaker A: Wvuafm tuscaloosa.
